And also, can someone inform this guy that the gas system is adjustable please. :haha:
FYI: Weapon used by sniper is a Fusil Automatique Leger --A Belgian 7.62mm NATO battle rifle
Also love the shout of Allahu Akbar after every shot :haha:

His lucky ! Now he can blown himself in a crowded area at the shout of Allahu Akbar...

Yes, this is ironic

I think the issue was caused by a poorly seated magazine because the first round fired just fine when your first shot fires and your second does not and you have a
magazine fed weapon in your hands you most likely did not seat the magazine properly in the well.He should have charged rifle then made sure that the magazine was firmly seated if he had done that he would had only one misfire and none had he properly seated the mag in the first place.

Also this guy is not concealed at all to the eyes of a good sniper with the muzzle sticking out from his hide he is saying "here I am shot me"!

the other sniper is very skilled though his shot would have been perfect center mass had Mr.FAL stayed put.

Once again I'm wondering who held the camera to film this in the first place. With all these videos popping up you'd think a camera man was a standard member of any battle formation these days, apparently including a sniper team.

"Say hello to your new mates, everyone. Here is Billy. He shoots the gun. Here is Joe. He tells Billy where to shoot the gun next. Oh yeah, and here is Bob. He is mostly useless, but in case you happen to get horribly maimed and blown to pieces in battle, he is the one responsible for documenting it all and posting it to Internet sites so the rest of us can laugh at you. We call him the morale improvement officer (it's part of that new liberal government's programme for employing the homeless people, if you haven't heard.)"

True that, although the footage is not likely for entertainment purposes, to showcase Bob's shaky hand-held cam skills off. As the shots that came in seconds after the guy moved indicate, none of it was scripted. Had the guy remained there, the Team Morale Officer would have had a tough time of it, picking up Billy's remnants off the floor and wall behind him.
There are videos of scripted or play-acting type incidents and then there are these footages, real and no nonsense.
I get what you're saying about videos in abundance. I guess this one is not one of 'those'. :salute:

That retard is not a sniper... he is an untrained rifleman with a scoped semi automatic assault rifle - at best.

If he could, he would probably shoot from his hips... :/\\!!

I only have personal knowledge of the SA-80 group of weapons, but to me firing one or two more rounds indicates a blockage in the gas system.

They generally have video running at any potential ambush of the Syrian army, there was one posted a few weeks back that showed the rather violent brewing up of a Syrian T-72 after an AT missile slammed into the back of it. One of the crew (presumably the commander) was thrown out of the turret as it went up but managed to scramble to possible safety (there were bullets ricocheting off the wall as he ran past it so it's possible he got hit, but even if he did survive, he'll have had some hefty burns).
But yes, if in doubt, 'Allahu Ackbar'. :yep:

One lucky but careless sniper there, but these aren't professionals, unlike the chap who shot back at him. That was a damn fine reply shot and probably a lot more accurate than the shots that went out.

Wolferz 02-25-13 09:31 AM

Pew pew pew

That guy needs to learn S P O R T S...
  • Slap (the magazine)
  • Pull (the charging handle)
  • Observe (the breach)
  • Return (the bolt)
  • Tap (the forward assist)
  • Squeeze (the trigger)
He was kicking up alot of dust and giving away his position. He's lucky that first inbound round didn't hit him in his goat poker.

Ametuers...
Oy Vay!:haha:

Agreed and the one returning the fire was probably more skilled judging by the film footage.

First rule of sniping, move after you shoot.

Armistead 02-25-13 11:38 AM

I'm sure the government that takes over Syria will be much better.:haha:
