After 15 pages and 3 people in the brig, we would finally agree that the original poster lacks credibility as he doesn't present any sources and fails to answer any questions. :know: |
That's great and all, but what about the service that scrubs your computer of all your porn after you die? Can't have your loved ones last memory of you to be about how shocked they were at what kind of kinky stuff you were into.

This problem predates computers. We had a young troop die on us and I was one of the team of minions that had to inventory all of his personnel effects. This kid had a respectable library of porn but the subject matter might not have made his family happy. :nope: Unfortunately, it got inventoried and shipped to his family when it would have been better if the family did not know. I can can believe this problem has only gotten worse with the advent of the Internets Tubes. |

That surprises me a little my older brother who is an officer in Marines says that they have an unwritten rule when it comes to things like this and any hard core porn related materiel is removed from the personal belongings and most troops write a note and give it an NCO or officer that basically says "don't let my parents/girlfriend/dog see this stuff" after they realized enough guys doing this they just made it general rule that they would remove this kind of stuff. It seems reasonable to me everyone has their personal details that they really do not want their family to know about in graphic detail. |
