How to post to Facebook, Twitter after you die

People have long left letters for loved ones (and the rare nemesis) with estate lawyers to be delivered after death. But a new crop of startups will handle sending prewritten e-mails and posting to Facebook or Twitter once a person passes. One company is even toying with a service that tweets just like a specific person after they are gone. The field got a boost last week when the plot of a British show "Black Mirror" featured similar tools, inspiring an article by The Guardian.
Just wait till you see the "I'm dead" post I have planned for Subsim.

Just don't post it in GT: it would result in a discussion if Obama or the Tea Party would be to blame for your demise, followed by an argument if you would still be alive if you had a gun in your holster or it was a pro-gun stance which got you killed. Then the conspiracy guys would step in and present the proof that a joint operation by the CIA, the KGB and the Mossad offed you in a secret drone strike.
After 15 pages and 3 people in the brig, we would finally agree that the original poster lacks credibility as he doesn't present any sources and fails to answer any questions. :know:

That's great and all, but what about the service that scrubs your computer of all your porn after you die? Can't have your loved ones last memory of you to be about how shocked they were at what kind of kinky stuff you were into.

Just put all your porn links in one file "What I wish my wife would do." Least she may feel a lil guilt when she finds them.

This problem predates computers. We had a young troop die on us and I was one of the team of minions that had to inventory all of his personnel effects. This kid had a respectable library of porn but the subject matter might not have made his family happy. :nope:

Unfortunately, it got inventoried and shipped to his family when it would have been better if the family did not know.

I can can believe this problem has only gotten worse with the advent of the Internets Tubes.

That surprises me a little my older brother who is an officer in Marines says that they have an unwritten rule when it comes to things like this and any hard core porn related materiel is removed from the personal belongings and most troops write a note and give it an NCO or officer that basically says "don't let my parents/girlfriend/dog see this stuff" after they realized enough guys doing this they just made it general rule that they would remove this kind of stuff. It seems reasonable to me everyone has their personal details that they really do not want their family to know about in graphic detail.
