I'm a day into my second mission to patrol grid BF19 in U47,1939/09/06. I have just received a radio message on open freq: SSS 38d 28m N
10d 50m W
SS Manaar
I found out this is where the SS Manaar was sunk at the beginning of hostilities,
Stopped, shelled, torpedoed, by U38.
My questions are; Is this just for my information? Am I expected to take some specific action? Will I be notified via radio if my mission objectives change?
I'm really enjoying getting back into the sim. after so many years. It will all come back to me eventually.:salute:

No , you don't have to take any action. These radio messages are for immersion only. Radio contacts indicating convoys are true.

Your mission objectives are not going to change.
You will be notified by radio when your home port changes.
