Webster's GFO for 1.4

Looking for Webster's original Game Fixes Only mod so I can add it to a reinstalled copy of SH4 patched to 1.4, but all I can find is the GFO 1.1 which specifies SH4 1.5. Does the original GFO which does not require 1.5 still exist anywhere?

Webster has listed all the info here:

I looked at that already - it's for 1.1, not the original which didn't require the 1.5 patch because the 1.5 patch didn't exist when the original GFO mod was made. I'm asking about the mod before the current 1.1 version, is that still available anyplace?

your info is wrong, GFO was created after v1.5 and that is the version it was originally made for.

if you check my mod list you will find that a lot of my mods have versions that will work for v1.4 of the game but GFO was designed for v1.5 game. the first version didnt really have a version number so i refered to it as v1.0 and the updated version was v1.1 which fixed some errors in the first version si it wasnt really much different, just a few added fixes for things that werent working right.

there was a lot that changed from v1.4 game to the v1.5 game so a lot of the files cant be used with v1.4 game

GFO was a lot of hard work and at the time i did the mod i felt there was no longer any demand for v1.4 game mods since 99% of all mods are made for v1.5

just remember that most of the mods used in GFO are made for v1.5 so i couldnt do a game v1.4 GFO if i wanted to, the game fixes for v1.4 just arent there to be used

you can buy sh4 gold that includes v1.5 for the exact same price you pay for regular sh4 v1.4 by itself so unfortunately people keep getting cheated (mainly by steam) without realising they arent getting the best deal

Rebooting wetware

Thanks, you could be right, since it was back in the good old days before I went senile. Now that you mention it I vaguely recall a conversation about the ship acceleration correction, since I had the D2D version which was different from the disks I assumed that's why it crashed, then it turned out there were configuration files for ships I didn't actually have.
