This Guy Built The Battle of Hoth In His Living Room – With Explosions [Video]
Barry had 140 square feet available in his living room. Some people would consider adding couches or chairs. Those people are not as awesome as Barry – he built an insanely detailed diorama of the Battle of Hoth.
Images from this Source: http://nerdapproved.com/approved-pro...th-explosions/ And a amazing video putting everything into context: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kqs80...layer_embedded He wins the internetz imo. |
That's one awesome diorama!

This dude has smoked a wicked lot of dope. :)

Nerdy? Just a bit....
:hmmm: Nah...Dedication to his Hobby. How about that? |
It's great, shame how the guy seems embarrassed by it all and tries to mask it with all of his jokes. Would be good if he quit being the cool kid and just talked us through it.

Judging by the accent,
Armistead has way too much time on his hands.:haha: |

He needs a girlfriend, but as he's got the battle of Hoth in his living room, his chances of getting one are pretty much nil.
|
Looks like he'd feel more comfortable sharing a room with Chewbacca :)
|
Very impressive...but...minor nitpick...I don't recall Vader being present at Hoth....Raptor (resident Force expert), was he?

I don't recall him taking part in the actual fighting in the movie. Some EU sources do have him fight the Rebels on the ground, but those are mostly games so I'm rather dubious about that. |
Vader does indeed join the Stormtrooper Assault on the Rebel Base.
For reasons that were never explained. When the rebels were planning their evacuation, they left the generator unmanned, which was key to them escaping, due to them also abandoning the ion cannon, which was protecting their evacuation. Vader, if he had not joined his ground forces, would have been free to get his Star Destroyers to bombard the rebel camp. But he couldn't do that, he was in the camp! :haha: |
Now that is nerdy:haha:

Now you know what changes to make to the railroad diorama. Needs more imperial walkers. oh, change it to 1/18 scale. |
Looks like an awesome hobby.
I am always impressed when people can be so dedicated to their hobby that they put that much time into it. No way would I have the patience for this. :nope: |
