BattleTech Players?

Raptor1 has converted me.

I am now a BattleTech Player-In-Training.

We've played a little bit online with MegaMek and I love this. I can actually play this online with no lag...

Anybody interested in a game? :yeah:

The board game???

(And no, I know you're talking 'bout the online one; played the snot out of Battletech when younger - Car Wars too. Love boardgames but if you saw my track record, you'd see they don't love me back).

I'd love to give it a swing, but me computer won't comply. Someday, though...

This is the board game but it's made for computers. You could run this on the oldest computer ever probably. Not really any sysreqs are required and I can play this online with a 15 Kbps internet.

Go here and download the latest Dev Build.

My impressions:

1. I stand corrected on what I said previously.

2. HOT DAMN!

3. Are they working on a serial-numbers-filed-off-version-of-Space-Hulk or Circus-Imperium 'cause if they did, I'd certainly throw some cash their way and/or my wife.

4. Don't tell my wife I'd pimp her out for an online version of Space Hulk or Circus Imperium...I should shut up now...

5. We're cool, right?

So how about a game? :O:

Welp - have to get back at ya as I've burned my game time today with Doom 3 tonight (love that game as it spooks the poop out of me).

Thanks for the heads-up on this as I am going to pass it on to my buddies (all ex-Army guys; go figure) who loved Battletech in their blissful youth.

Gracias, amigo.
