Realistic US torpedo skins
 

Does anyone out there know where I can find a mod on realistc torpedo colors for US WW2 torpedos? Just about every post I've found in the forums is for SH3, SH5, or strictly for SH4 v1.5. I have TMO 1.7.6 on my SH4 and the torpedos in that mod have bright candy colored explosive cones. The stock torpedos would have been ok, but their skin colors are reversed, colored bodies with black cones. I found a great article on line about all the various Mk's of US torpedos and their specs, but the article was in black and white, so I could not see their true realistic colors.

Neither of the mods listed above worked. I got split images of the torpedos. They must not be compatible with SH4 1.4, or TMO 1.7.6.

This is the info you missed at the bottom of the torpedo thread that I linked.
"Note: This is for vanilla 1.5. TMO & RFB have their own versions which will be included in their next release."

And this is the info on the download link that max-peck gave you,
"A reskin of US torpedoes using the SH3 torpedo graphics as a base.
Tested with TMO 2.0 and RFB 2.0."
its always easy to miss the important stuff when in a rush to try them out, I've done it myself so you aren't the first and neither will you be the last.:up:
