So subsim closed to download mods?
 

"great idea"! Now i cant download mods from here. I have to write something have no sence and stupid for just to download some mod...

and you forget that this is a free world; however, not a very cheap one.

Site costs to run, traffic costs, storage costs - hence there is a limit.

not sure why you are so opposed to contributing your opinions on the forums but to get your account reset send neal a PM and he will get you fixed up to download again. old accounts like yours that arent active can get muttled up when they upgrade the servers and such so thats what likely happened to yours since you havent posted in over two years.

mookie lets please not be calling anyone names, its not nice to treat a member that way and we all have our moments we say things in a post without thinking how it sounds

Personally, I do not see this as a problem.:o
Write, for example: "Thank you very much, Modders" or "Thank you, SUBSIM community for help," or choose a topic and write a word of thanks to a person. You can even extended his gratitude to all individually.
I think of the extra "Thank you" not hurt.
Bad when the "Language" run faster "Thoughts".:O:

Moochers that complain about not being able to mooch as much as they like is something that irks me. if someone is unwilling to show a modicum of respect and gratitude for the resources that Subsim provides, I don't see the need to show them any either. It's a two way street.

well i struggled on wether to say something because while i might agree with your thoughts i just would never say it openly because its not polite. expressing your feelings is fine and i had no problem with that, i just objected to your calling him a jerk (which IMO isnt against the rules) but when you did that i felt the need to say something just as another fellow member and not as a modderator.



it seams a few of you are having download problems so if you are then just PM neal about it and he will get it fixed for you im sure. i suppose there could be some site maint going on thats causing it but i dont know for sure.
