Running Lights?

Hello all, I'm sure this has been brought up in the past, but I was just wondering if being able to turn on your running lights would be possible to mod. It would be nice to be able to turn them on and off while entering or leaving port.
I also want to thank the community for all the work you guys have done over the years, I have been using this site since SHII and think that for any game forum out there this has to be the most helpful and well run!

It would be nice to have navigation lights for the aesthetic effect when in harbors, I mentioned this in my U-boat searchlights in mods forum, It would be nice to have this.
