Changing map tool colors

Hi guys! I'm curious if anyone knows of a way or a mod that will allow me to alter the colors of my map tools. i.e. The marker, ruler, protractor etc. I found this page that mentions it a little more than halfway down,

but the explanation on how to do it is confusing to and lost on me somewhat. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Hi,
You have to get the NewUIs mod, and in the data/application/fileviewer you have to go in the maps tab where you'll be able to change color of tools.
You'll have to choose the color first by clicking "color", then enable it!

Hi, I have a similar problem trying to change it but the editor does not have a color option:D
