problem with evans type21 mod
 

some time ago i posted i had a problem with the type 21 mod that makes it available at the beggining of the war. well for some reason it would not activate using the mod enabler and for a while a gave up on it, but later decided i wanted to use the sub so i had a tinker,i checked for files that looked like they should present and put them in and also the CFG file and bingo ..it worked
although diesel smoke and water streams were missing i added these files too and now is all cool
thought i would post this just in case someone else had the same problem, just make sure you back up any files you replace :03: just in case :arrgh!:

Sounds like it could be a corrupted download.

The latest version of the XXI mod (v1.3) is a collaboration between evan82 and me: http://www.mediafire.com/?zmynnznlgto. 1392 downloads and this is the first time the problem has been raised.

At the end of the day, I'm glad you managed to solve it and get the mod working. :salute:

its a good mod, its nice to try type 21 in the campaign and good to have all the effects and ships etc that ubisoft failed to put into the game which they released only 20% complete if you ask me ..
