What are the odds on that?
Bad taste title, but.

If the sign was faulty, which it obviously was...odds on I'd say.
|
I'll bet that a general consensus would say the title is not in bad taste at all. Side bet that if it is bad taste at least it's apt. :sunny:

If anything can go wrong, it will.

I was in Swindon town centre one windy day and a roofing sheet blew off and down, just missed three people walking into a shop. :o
I'd say the title is only bad taste if you're friends or family of the man. Do we know his nationality? Was he a pole? :hmmm: That would've been a worse title. |
I thought it was down the main Camden street, lots of big signs on the side of buildings there, was not expecting it to be a William Hill.
By the way, what was the title, since it's "Man dies after being hit by falling sign" now. |

The odds are high I would imagine. However, a sad day for someone. Shame the sign was not installed correctly.

These things happen.

The shop owner will say He was in the way of the sign!:haha:
Kinda like what i saw on the news the other day, a tourist went down the hillside in one of those plastic wheels where they just roll and roll he was inside the tube, it rolled alright. Right over the side of the mountain.:o Killed. What are the odds of that happening. |
