Any Skippers know of the Mod that gets rid of the speech bubble of the officers ,also playing manual targetting and cant get the XO to show me the recognition manual or AoB tool , range and speed ,I must have pressed something which must have stopped it ,I,ve got a convoy on my Port beam ,I suppose I could get into position close up and let em all go an hope fer the best !!! :timeout:

I have the same problem using New UIs. I don't know wether TDW changed the way XO interface is shown with one of the last versions of his UI, or rather I am doing something wrong :hmmm:

If you target a ship (space) and then get the Weaps (not the xo) to ID, then the soan will open to the correct page.

Yes, but the SOAN won't let you using the stadimeter. IIRC this feature was only accessible from ERM/XO interface, and recently I can't get it to show in game :hmm2:

To use the stadi - id the ship (this will send mast height) as I said above and the click on the stati button or the xo box.
Now that stadi should be set ready for use

I remember correctly there was once an interface were you could input manually the unit class (by clicking on it we accessed the ERM), AoB and range. By the range there was a link for using the stadimeter. Has this changed lately? I cannot seem to find this interface anymore... :88)

there are two options - the dials or the xo box
both need the range aob and speed set by hand
the aob will auto update when entered

No that is the old old book with the even older stadi fix line:nope:
The stati had an issue where all masts were set at 20m
so that line is 20m to offset the error.

TDW fixed the mast issue with his UI but that old book could not be looked at without targeting a ship - so scope had to be up.
This is when he made the soan - to replace the book. The soan does everything the id book does and much much more.

To get your xo box back - look at the buttons top right. There is one for xo on/off

There was a time when both SOAN and ERM (the old book) were featured at once. Then my job forced me to suspend my subsim activity for a long while. Has the ERM been removed at all in the meanwhile...

Problem solved,I must be the dumbest skipper !, been pressin the L key for lock ,but that only works on SH IV and SH III NOT on SH V , Goin back tet naval academy ! What a Dumkopf :/\\!!
