In-game calendar?

I've been looking around at the endless list of mods, but I haven't been able to find what I'm looking for. In SH2 there was a calendar above the Kaleun's quarters that you could click on and would come up near full screen. SH3 seems to have omitted this. Does anyone here recall a mod that puts this back into the game? I know you can get the date by hovering over the time display in the bottom corner of the screen, but it's just not the same.

No, I'm pretty sure there's no way to do it. SH1 was even better than SH2 in that respect. It had a single-page 'tear-off' calendar, that gave the day's weather forecast as well as sun and moon rise/set times.

The better the simulation, the worse the calendar :nope:

At the start of each patrol on the 'career menu' page the day and date is given. You write that down and go from there.

I liked the SH2 calender. Wonder what they'll get me for my birthday? :O:

If it's not in the game it's somewhere else: http://www.timeanddate.com/calendar/...1940&country=9

Ah, but does the game actually conform to the reality? If not, thne it's useless.

Well of course, I can keep track of the date myself, I just don't want to. :03:

If the game cannot conform to the reality, then is the player who wishes to conform to reality that matters.

I understand. What I was trying to say was that if the game has it wrong, then the real calender is useless for determining those times in the game.

Was just starting new patrol and the date in game Apr. 3 1941 is a Thursday.

www.timeanddate.com confirms this.

The game itself recognizes calendar days with war years and with no problems.

Troublous_Haze 01-27-13 01:54 PM

In short SH3 owns calendar days correctly by time, but Calendar itself is not accessable to the player.

Sailor Steve 01-27-13 04:24 PM

Sorry if I expressed myself poorly. I realize the game has the correct days for the dates. I was speaking only of the sun and moon rise/set times, a feature of SH1 that they've managed to get rid of, and nothing else. If the sun and moon don't rise and set at the correct times, then having a real calendar with those times is useless.

Have I been clear enough yet?

I followed you, and yes, that would be useful. Perhaps I should get into mods? I'd probably end up with a headache from all of this, though: :/\\!!
