Upgrade Salmon lost SJ Radar
 

Anyone know a fix or this problem. The configuration in port shows I have SJ Radar, but on patrol the radar does not turn on and Nav map shows no radar contacts. Is there a fix for this by editing ActiveUserPlayerUnits.upc?

I would like to know also... recently I posted almost the same thread ( http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=201234)... and got no usable answer...

ok, first of all, did you re-equip the radar before you left dock?

at times you will go out on patrol after upgrade to another boat and you will have to complete a patrol or 2 before you will be able to equip your new boat with the radar again.:/\\!!

I have run into this problem with stock , and RFB 1.5.:yep:

Try a couple patrols and hope you will be able to equip it again.:hmm2:

The answer to your question is yes, the SJ radar was re-equiped, but the radar is not present on patrol. There is a fix to PREVENT this by changing a date in the Salmon .eqp file but I'm looking for a fix after the problem. I supposed someone may know how to do this similar to fixing the stern gun problem after an upgrade in port by editing the activeuserplayerunits.upc file in one of the Saved patrols. I don't know which file(s) need to be edited to re-enable the radar.
