Bid to stop French foul gas leak

Looks like a pre-emptive strike by the French against the UK :)

Quote:

Staff at a chemicals factory in north-western France are working to stop a gas leak that has spread a foul smell to Paris and south-east England.
French Ecology Minister Delphine Batho said there was no health risk after she visited the factory in the northern city of Rouen in Normandy.
Thousands of people, from as far away as Paris and London, have complained of nausea and headaches.

Watch out Jim they might send you over to Rouen in retaliation.:O:

Based on what went on in that hotel room in Houston a few years back you might have to be classified as a lethal weapon.:D

Apparently the gas that has leaked is not only used to give natural gas (odourless) a smell for health and safety reasons but is also what is used in those kids classics...stink bombs :)
