How do you get the SOS message mod from SH3 to work in SH5?
 

Howdy. I really liked the U-boat SOS messages in SH3. I was wondering if anyone knew how to convert them to SH5 or is it a lost cause? Thanks for your help. Dave

It's in the Folder Data/Campaigns/Campaign/Messages_En. You can open it with Wordpad and copy messages from the SH3 one and paste them into the same file in SH5. It takes a bit of work, but you can do it.

There may already be a mod that does that.

For the ones who are using other UI's, TDW released his Radio Messages Engine, which includes campaign radio messages as well, as a separate mod :up:

That folder and file does not exist in SH5. Just some FYI. SH5 didn't have any way of adding radio messages to the game. That is why I developed a radio messages engine.
