Is there a mod for fire spreading, sinking ships?
 

Ever since I deactivated FX_Update by TDW, because the flares caused lag on my PC and I didn't like the horns, fire on ships does not spread and they do not sink.

Where do I find a mod that does not include these visual and sound effects, but have the fire spreading effect and sinking?

Before enabling FX Update go to FX_Update_0_0_19_ByTheDarkWraith\data\Library and comment out which TDW_FX files you dont want to use . So comment out TDW_FXU_Flares so it looks like this ;TDW_FXU_Flares and any other ones . Enable the mod when finished . cheers .

Thats right . Comment out the Dat files as well .
All the commented files will appear at the top .

Sorry to highjack the thread, but how do you "comment out" those files exactly?
It's not same as delete them i suppose...

You add a ";" symbol at the beginning of the file name, I'll try out in a sec.
