Trigger my maru !

Not being too well up on mucking about with game files ,is there an easy way t get TMO from out of the folder ( downloads two) and into SHIV ? I can,t seem t get 2 folders on the screen at the same time like it shows in the thread MIRKOS had been shown how to , I,ve got windows 7 . Am gonna have a bash at it when I finish this mission ! The game is being played with manual targetting and I,m just wondering is there anything in TMO that meks it easier :hmmm:

Use JSGME to install, there is an Easier AI for TMO in the Subsim downloads and if the game is still hard, change your realism setting.

You mean the bearingtool, the big(er) circle round the sub?

There are a few in the download section under silent hunter 4 / gamplay mods, second or third page.

Careful tho, those aren't compatible with MEGA MOD's as far as I know and if you decide to install it anyway you might get hiccups or even CTD's.

The bearing plotters are just tga files. Specifically, the tga files used to mark your subs position on the map. There are no compatibility issues there, just be sure the ones you actually want to use are installed last.

Also of note: The tga does not scale with resolution, so it will only give a correct measurement at a specific screen res.
