[REQ] Surcouf Submarine
 
Hello everyone! Recenty bought SH5 and after modding it I must say that I love it. Only problem is that playing the given submarines is not really of my taste.
I'm asking for something a bit unusual and crazy but I've loved the Surcouf mod for SH4 and would like to know if anybody was working on a version for SH5 or would do one?

Also, I've been looking around for the "Walter Subs" but couldn't find any. I'd like to play these electric little beauties too but I don't think anyone made a mod.

The only stock sub in SH5 is the Type VII. Tho there are mods to make it act like a Type IX. More fuel, more torpedos, fast speeds, and so forth.

Work is being done on a mod for the Type IX but there's no word on when it will be done. We haven't heard if it's still being worked on or not.... time will tell.

I'm very interested about that because I too found that the torpedo stock is a little light considering how many it takes to sink a ship. Could you forward me a link please?

Reduced Mission Tonnage if not using OHII Full..... cuts required tonnage in half in stock SH5 1.2.

Note that I do not use any Ui mods. Salvo Spread Angle-Dial for UZO & Attack Periscope and R.E.M_by_Xrundel_TheBeast_1.2 are included in Ui mods by TDW. Do not installed these mods if you are using any Ui mods.

Also do not use Reduced Mission Tonnage if you are using the OH II Full 2.0 mod as OH II is toatally diffent and reduced tonnage is take care of by this mod.

If you use these 3 contrary to my warning they will cause errors or CTDs in SH5.

R.E.M is not included in the NewUIs!!
I said before that this mods contains the UBoat_sensors.sim.. but the files included in the NewUIs and in the R.E.M are different..

I always using my revision of the R.E.M and never had any CTDs with its usage..

PS: I really don't know why Sober has the CTDs with its use..

Volodya, PM Sober and see what's up with this mod and the Uis. Like I said, I don't use the Uis so I've no idea what's going on. I wish I did and could do something to change things, but it's all way over my head and know how.
