Haha, "the Fuhrer's dead, now Europe's red, we aim our guns at the USA."

One of the best interpretations of Korobushka I've ever heard.

The whole "standing in line" thing is in fact much bigger thing and reference than just an unoriginal way of saying "I'm poor." There were a few of those in there, from what I listened. It's a funny song, but it sounds like whoever wrote it took a little more time to study the subject than just reading Wikipedia and a bunch of millenia old SU jokes.

Yeah its not too looking too good for you/us/Europe is it? At least you can take comfort in that if the U.S goes down the road of bankrupsy, it wont be going it alone. :nope:
I actually watched Ron Pauls congress retirement speech in its entirety the otherday, I pretty much agree with his message, much of it is quite applicable to my own country too.
U.S congress is now bickering over the debt ceiling again, I have little doubt that will raise it again (What choice do they have?) but just doing this is hardly a long term solution is it?
If and when the worse happens the best I can hope for is that we can all get though it with minimal human suffering, that we all learn our bloody lessons from it and move on to something a bit more humble and sustainable.
