Stormin' Norman has died? That's a shame, he was a good leader in the art of modern warfare, in particular that of the media angle of it, giving regular briefings to the press, but not allowing them to walk all over him. Getting BDUs that were comfortable to operate in the heat (apparently, obviously I wasn't there and I do not know how comfortable a cotton BDU is in the heat of the Middle East) was a fantastic idea as well, and one that might have been overlooked by brass focused on the broader war and not on the people fighting it. His actions in Vietnam are also of high merit, helping to rescue his men from a minefield under difficult conditions.

Rest in Peace, sir, you've done your bit in hell. :salute:

I only know his name, but he was still a human being.

Rest in Peace, sir :salute:

Woah. That's actually.......really profound. Not bad, kid.

Rest in peace, Stormin' Norman. We thank you for your service.

Just learned that my Grandfather was in the same West Point class as Stormin Norman. Class of 57.

May they both rest in peace. Hopefully, they're up there plotting to invade Hell and destroy all evil. :salute:

An American hero, a modern day Patton (if it wasn't for that meddling UN, telling us Saddam learned his lesson)
