N Koreans 'have 10,000km rocket'

I'm beginning to wonder if the South Koreans are scaremongering with these type of statements.

When and if North Korea have the capability to reach the west coast of the US I can't see both China and the US sitting idly by and allowing them to start a potential nuclear war....surely? :hmm2:

North Korea's recent rocket launch shows it has the ability to fire a rocket more than 10,000km (6,200 miles), South Korean officials say.

And why would you think that KJU would start a nuclear war?

Like many political leaders, he garners benefit from keeping his people afraid of a potential enemy. All that goes away if there is actual fighting. KJU may play brinkmanship, but the North Koreans would have no benefit if there was an actual shooting way (they would probably cease as a government entity).

Your probably right but I tend to expect the unexpected from crackpot leaders like those in NK.

I got a kitten that eats everything in the house, I also got a wife that spends all surplus money.

I am more worried about those 2, than fatboy Kim.

Interesting how the booster stage broke apart on splashdown...

Hand welded, and probably not to the highest of standards, most likely couldn't withstand the force of impact.

Still quite amazing that they got something actually in to orbit. Of course, does anyone know if what they put up there is actually working as it's suppose to be?

Jimbuna 12-23-12 01:53 PM

Didn't NASA or someone say it was spinning out of control shortly after it went into orbit? :hmm2:

So it's like everything I put into orbit in Kerbal.
