WinRAR Help

I can't move files in Winrar from one folder to another. I gives that red circle with a red line through it, telling me that I cannot do it. Why is that? I cannot move my files to another folder within the archive. I do not know why. I just want to add files to my existing archive to update the file with more files for JSGME extraction to move them from one folder to another and I cannot do it.

If I understand correctly, you're trying to move a file within an archive to another archive? You can't do that as far as I know.:06:

its a "compressed" file so thats why you cant move it to another "compressed" file, to do something like that you need to unzip the file then make the changes you want then recompress the file. this requires you have editing control of the zip program so the free versions of winzip and winrar dont offer this.

this is why most modders use 7zip since its a full access zip program and its completely free. 7zip lets you make your own zip files so you can create your own compressed files or edit compressed files the way you are asking about.
