SH3sim.act results in crash!
 

Good Evening,

i bought SH3 on Steam this May to avoid StarForce **** and get it cheaper. After my first install it worked fine, but now, after my second install, it doesn't work. Everytime when i load a mission, the loading bar goes up to 75%, and then it does a CTD where it says that SH3sim.act is guilty. :down:

The Steam Support told me to mess up with Ubisoft Support, but i wait to an answer about 10-12 Days. In other Forums no one reacted. I hope you can help me. :/\\!!

8 GB RAM
Windows 7 Home Premium 64 Bit
750 GB Seagate HDD

reinstall...?
patch version?
standard game or nocd version?
any changes or mods?
(let us try from the beginning...)

Just for information purposes, any version of SH3 on DVD produced after 2008 by a third party under license by UBI does not have Star Force on it, and is already patched to 1.4b.

I have reinstalled the Game about five times.... no change.
Patch version is 1.4
I don't know, it is a Steam-Special-Coded-Version.
Nope, stock SH3.

BTW: I have heard something about a Steam Error that downloads a buggy sh3sim.act, maybe that is the solution!
If someone is so polite so send me his working sh3sim.act and maybe sh3.exe so i can test it.
