Any news about TheDarkWraith ?

No news about him since a few weeks. His public profil says his last visit was on october 7.

I remember he said just before he will have some holidays (3 or 4 weeks if i'm right).:hmmm:

Where are you, TheDarkWraith, where are youuuuuuuuuuu ?

I've been flying from country to country and some of these countries either have poor internet or no internet at all. My workload is huge currently and I just don't have the time for anything.
As great as he as for us mere mortals on Subsim, he does have a life of his own to lead. He'll be back when he can.

last activity on 7 oct, and PM box reportedly full :hmm2:

I start being a bit worried about TDW, and I am sure I am not the only one wondering on his "long" silence.

If it was someone else I wouldn't worry at all, but knowing the stachanovist he is, and his fondness for SH modding topics, it is strange that he didn't even get time for a quick comment on the forum, or just for visiting subsim in more than 2 months :-?

I only hope that everything is ok with him, and that he can get time for informing us on it. Don't actually matter if he is currently too busy for retrieving his usual modding activity.

Dear Wraith, if you're there knock once for 'yes' and twice for 'no'! :D :salute:

Considering all he has done for SH5, which is way behond the call of duty IMHO, he is more than entitled to a break or even to move on if he wishes.

Happy Holidays TDW, wherever you are.

Herr-Berbunch 12-18-12 10:41 AM

I thought post #2 would've cleared it up for you all. He's not going to drop everything to come here and say hello to keep you all sweet if he can't, or won't.

Give the guy a break, let him do what he has to do. He'll be back when he's back.

Fair enough, Bilge_Rar, I second your best wishes :)

With all the due respect, Herr-Berbunch, are you TDW's spokesman, or are you in direct touch with him?

If so, please, accept my humble apologies for my ingenuity, but no one that I am aware of obsessed TDW with odd requests during his absence, or blamed him for "doing what he has to do", as much grotesque this last sentence may sound.

On the other hand not only I think that wondering about his unusually long silence is perfectly normal, but I believe that it can be taken as a sign of the feeling of gratitude and great respect we all have for him :yep:

My two cents

Herr-Berbunch 12-18-12 11:39 AM

Nope, neither. I'm just pointing out that the very last post he posted described why he wouldn't be around for a while. And we should respect his absence, not pester him with questions and requests - I'm not saying that's what you've done, but a modder with the standing that TDW does I'm sure that's what is in his full PM box.

Yep, I'd read that message, when it was posted in the GR2 Editor/Viewer thread. Honestly I didn't pay much attention to it, thinking that it was about one of TDW's usual working trips, lasting no more than a few weeks. After re-reading it a second time, I have to agree that it sounded a bit more emphatic than other similar posts by him.

We can only guess the content and number of those PM's. Probably a heap of spam. But what is trush for me or you, might be worth a second reading for someone else... as far as the due respect is shown, of course :03: :)

He is obviously a secret agent on a special mission for the greater good:03:
Lets hope he can break cover soon and show face again

:haha:

that was my educated guessing! :D
But what if he was in desperate need for sub coverage? would a CIA agent use the enigma code for getting in touch with his subsim buddies, or given his codename "The Dark Wraith", he would rather need for a seance :hmmm:

Ok Gap, good plan - let me put a word in

What did Trevally've meant by this picture?
1st version: this man (that looks like Mr.Obama very much) is talking to TDW and giving him secret instructions (or may be recieving any instructions re. SH5 modding, who knows?). Than we can conclude TDW is really busy by now:yep:

2nd version: TDW is the man on the photo, that looks like Mr.Obama very much and is talking on the phone. That is plausible because most of us haven't meat TDW in real life and we don't know how he looks like. So we can conclude that TDW is :o:o:o:Kaleun_Salute: and is really busy by now, even more than in ver.1

3rd version: TDW is standing near the men who is talking on the phone (and looks like Mr.Obama very much). That is plausible because most of us haven't meat TDW in real life and we don't know how he looks like. So we can conclude that TDW is :k_confused: ... really extremely busy, even more than in ver.1 and 2 together.

Anyway the trouth is somewhere outthere:hmmm:
