I've been reading Red Storm Rising and I'm interested in the RSR campaign.

Are there any other essentials for DW?

Anything I should know?

I'm enjoying it very much. I've had it for several weeks before getting into it. But now I can't seem to stop wanting to get back out on the ocean. Hehehe...too bad I live in Missouri. :)

RA mod is pretty good. Adds new platforms and AI vehicles as well as new ordnance. I recommend it.

I'll check out the RA mod today. Sounds good. Can I run LWaMI with it? I've heard that that's a good one.

Cool. I may actually be heading down to Sikeston for work next week or so.

I may be making several trips thee over the next few months.

Ugh. Sikeston is a hellhole. At one point it was the leader in drugs in at least the region IIRC. I personally, try to avoid the place.

Not as bad as Cairo though. That place is worse. But IIRC it is in Illinois.

hehehe... I'm no fan of Sikeston. I just gotta go there for work related things from time to time.

I've heard of this mod. But I was also reading that it's best to stay with the default DW until you learn it?

I've learned but certainly haven't mastered the 688, P3, M-60, and am finishing up learning the FFG. I've not done the Russian and Chinese subs yet.

But I do want to make sure the experience is realistic. Would you still suggest the RA mod? Where would I find missions to play with that mod as I fear it would screw up the missions that came with the game.
