Will 4 GB patch work for me ?
 

Today I bought my first laptop, however I am worried about the "problem" in RAM usage. If you not lazy enough to check this link: http://forums.lenovo.com/t5/ThinkPad...le/td-p/839895 it explains the whole thing. I have a bad feeling I might have troubles in using 4GB patch now :-?

The patch addresses the .exe file so it uses more ram, this has been covered shipmate. Look here ;

I understand H.sie patch will use more memory for the .exe. All I wonder about is will it actually use 4 GB or just 3.6 that my laptop shows as usable ? :hmm2:

Ah, a 32-bit OS I'm guessing, then I think it'll only use what Windows sees, 3.something. It'll still help though as the big standard usage is something like 1.5 or 2 Gig.
