Help on changing turret allocation to ship weapon node
 
Hello and thanks to those who are gonna help me.

I am trying to edit a ship with S3D and I want to change the turrets. On the 3D model I have found the node corresponding to the turret I want to change. The 3D model doesn't show the ship with the turrets/gun. But I don't know where to edit to change the turret linked to that node. In exemple I want to change a 105mm turret with a 150mm turret. I don't know where that information is stored where it is said that to that ship nod ID xxxxx is turret or item xxxx

The Axx, Mxx and Sxx in the shipname.eqp is where the guns are chosen.

Thank you Karle Now it work fine I have displaced some gun and changed some on the P. One last big help needed:

I can create new node for additional gun but I still have some trouble. do I just have to create them in the ship.DAT file or must I create more elsewhere.

Actually I create a new mode, place it, create a sub label with name cfg#A04_ship with A for AA, M for main and S for secondary followed by the increasing number. The I had a block in the Ship.EQP file.

But I'm sure I am missing something...

In the .sim file of the ship there is a section for each of the turrets, where their traverse and elevation possibilities, as well as the arcs of fire, are defined.

OK... I have to add one their and link it to the ID in the dat file. Will do that this afternoon thank you
