Creating a custom mission
 

I am a bit confused here. I just got SH IV, added a couple of mods, and am overall pretty happy.

What I can't figure out is how to create my own "mission." The stock ones are useful, but how do I edit them or create my own?

In my several readings of US submarine warfare in the Pacific, and naval conflict in general ("Death of a Navy," for example) one of the main faults of Japanese planning was the lack of convoys and escorts, and thus so many of the ships were sunk by submarines.

Not that there were no escorts, but frequently there weren't.

Anyhow, I am lookking for something like Destroyer Command, where I can select the ship I'm in, the general location for action, what varieties of opposition there will be and so on. But I don't see anything like that in SH IV. Is there? There must be something somewhere, as I see non-stock missions for download here.

How do I create a custom mission?
