SUBSIM Radio Room Forums - Hi, how are you all doin'?

I found my way here because I need help.......
I've been addicted to SH3 for years! Never played online.
Have an original DVD with Starforce, struggled through XP, & Vista, 1.4b,
No DVD/Starforce remove etc., etc on my old desktop.
This week SH3 would not boot (I'm blaming a Windows Vista update, BUT I don't really know.........).
Ironically, last week I installed GWX 3.0 on my laptop, just for a look see, then the 'original' quit.
Re GWX 3.0, started a new career, completed 5 missions, all over the Atlantic
and ONLY encountered 2 hurricanes off the coast of Northern Ireland. In addition I could have docked in Gibraltar, no Ensigns anywhere.......that can't be right :nope:

Did I say I need help.............:arrgh!: :/\\!!

PS I've tried SH4, it seriously needs something :hmmm:, SH5 looks interesting, for later :o
