Plane interception angers Russia
Could this be the beginning of Russia coming out more publicly in support of Assad?
Either way it looks like further escalation over the troubles in the area. Quote:

UK fishermen 'attacked by French'
Wrong post

I heard about the scallop thing on Jeremy Vine's show, iirc Clinton Powell is a part owner of one of the boats, and was nowhere near his son, who was actually on the boat. Get it together BBC.
As for Moscow - :/\\!! |
The more internal problems and dissidents Putin has to put up with, the more international ''incidents'' Moscow will react to.

#2 should have been a separate thread...created now

Ankara claims to hjave found 300 kg of military goods, radios for the most.
Claism Ankara, but they did not present evidence for their claims. So it could be like they say, or it could be not. Certainly I do not trust Erdoghistan just because it claims something. Not after recent staged events, and lies produced afterwards. It was said the Turks opened diplomatic "suitcases". That is not good. If that leads to evidence showing that diplomatic suitcases gets abused for smuggling items not having anything to do with diplomatic secrecy and immunity, it is even worse, for the other side. This whole thing with diplomatic immunity and diplomatic luggage is a very two-sided sword. I increasingly tend to not agree on it. |

Syrians have stopped buying electricity from Turkey a few days back...I doubt they were purchasing that much anyway seeing as how not many buildings can be left standing :)

Syria have now banned Turkish civilian aircraft from flying over its territory.
It would appear tensions are rising: Quote:
