[Help] Installing CWSS
 

Ive tried to install the cwss again today, first i tried to put all the files and merge them into 1. That didnt work and the game crashed when i tried to enter the campaign mode with the Echo submarine. Second i tried using the Generic mod enabler and named the CWSS part #1 CWSS, #2CWSS, #3 CWSS, and #4 CWSS, this did not work well with generic mod enabler as it found conflicting files. can anyone help me please in trying to get this mod going. :)

Do i need the TMO mod to run the CWSS? and the campaign for it?

Torpex, CWSS is old Jhapprich's cold war steel sharks mod
deltafarce, download all parts and CWSS Fix mod, copy them in a folder and ectract
then copy in mods folder CWSS mod and CWSS Fix and enable them
some of the boats can be used in campaign, others like Alfa sub or Victor class can not, but some of them you can download the standalone mods from http://www.gamefront.com/files/user/jhapprich

Thank you for the help il give it a shot :). Btw does anyone get a texture problem on the standalone projekt659t, because when i install it the ship has texture only on the conning tower and the snorkle doesent go down its always extended.

i don't have any texture problem, she looks just fine, you have other mods instaled?
that's a snorkel? i've believed is a radio antena, is rising when you go to surface and go back down when dive, without any command

Yes. The mods i have setup and activated are websters better air patrol, tambor class high weatherd skin form silenthunter.filefront.com and thats it, the 659t is downloaded from gamefront files page for the cwss mod desgner, however its not part of cwss its just a standalone ship.

try to use it without other mods, see if texture are ok and then enable and the other mods one by one, until you'll see wich one affects your ship :)

All my standalone mods are meant to be run alone. they are incompatible to any other mod. the 659T will work, if you do not run anything else besides. and it is not a snorkel, but an ultra-high frequency antenna.same goes for CWSS

Sweet, thank you very much for your help guys :) great mods from the whole comunity. im really enjoing the oscar II submarine, so much fun sinking enitire convoys with the nukes :)

Hi I installed this mod and the intro video and menu video have me excited as can be to play this mod however everything is in German how would I go about transferring to English I tried looking for an in game option but couldn't find anything, help would be much appreciated!

Go to Data/menu/, rename menu.txt in something else, like menu_ge.txt, and menu_US rename it in Menu.txt

Ok the menu is in English and campaign Captain's office is in english but interface screens are in german still such as crew roster, player rank file, and the text info in patrol. Any ideas on how to correct that as well?
