Dear dad,
Dear Dad
Berlin is wonderful, people are nice and I really like it here, but Dad, I am a bit ashamed to arrive at my college with my pure-gold Ferrari 599GTB when all my teachers and many fellow students travel by train. Your son, Nasser The next day, Nasser gets a reply to his e-mail from his dad: My dear loving son Twenty million dollars from American and Canadian gas pumps has just been transferred to your account. Please stop embarrassing us. Go and get yourself a train too. http://us.mg5.mail.yahoo.com/ya/down...d=YahooMailNeo Love, your Dad |
:haha:
Very funny, However shouldn't it have been posted in the Joke-thread? Markus |
Well, I guess they have to enjoy it while it lasts...it is a non-renewable source after all...some day those wells are going to dry up...and then all the money in the world won't save those rich Saudi princes from their people...

Good one Gluetree :haha:
@Oberon Yep, the ME really doesnt have much in the way of natural rescources to fal;l back on when the oil is gone. Lots of sand though, maybe glass exports is the future industry for the ME :) You know what always troubles me? Glass is made of sand. Yet when a bunch of windows get broken somewhere, we are told "it is thousandss of ££/$$ worth of damage" Hang on, how come when you buy some pasta sauce, you practically get a glass jar thrown in for free? possibly because its just BLOODY sand? :D - ok so its quartz sand, some other compounds and window glass has a fancy pants manufacturing process to make it ultra clear and tougher, but I never really understood the exraordinary value of glass when it comes to window panels. I cant believe it really costs quite so much to produce. I swear Producers of glass are almost as genius as the 'producers' of bottled water. :haha: |
Nice one
