I'm going to visit HMAS Onslow tomorrow.

I'll post some pics of the sub, hopefully I'll b able to get a shot showing the periscope lens.

I'll also take some pics of HMAS Vampire.

I'll hopefully get to see the Battleship North Carolina this summer. If I end up seeing it, I'll post some pictures of it.

Well...I'd rather be on a sub than anything else.

Read a quote once....It went something like this....

"Any ship can dive...but mine can resurface"

I wouldn't mind being a Naval Officer if they put me in a sub....but....I don't know anything about how you get to be on a sub, what that requires, and what the chances are.

I'd much rather fly anyway. :cool:

Nice shots and as a small aside, the SubSim Meet in 2008 visited amongst other things the BB Texas....there are many pictures in the Meet thread.
