Hello,
I just purchased SHV. I've never used a submarine simulator and I can not understand the topic of mods, but with patience I hope progress.:yeah:

Welcome aboard :salute:

The mods help make the game more playable/enjoyable, or more realistic. Good mods will have a nice guide to install, like Cybermat47 said, with JSGME. All the details for using JSGME and installing mods will be on the forum somewhere, it may take a little finding, but ask a question and you're sure to get a positive, polite, accurate response from this lovely community. :yeah:

I recommend sober's guide, and install one at a time, testing each addition as you go. It's a long process but better than adding all at once and trying to find the trouble if there is any.
