Bizzare friendly Destroyer behaviour
 

Well, no less than 3 times in the Coastal Waters campaign, i have been escorted by a Type 34 Destroyer from Heligoland.

Has anyone else experienced this behaviour?

Yep, it's known bug...If i remember correctrly, one simple save and reload should solve the problem . Do you use latest version of TDW IRAI mod?

i use the last one and have the same issue noticed.

I've had it happen also, tho no mega mod is installed. Followed me half way across the North Sea from a Refit at Heligoland, but after a save it didn't show again.... until the next Refit. Happened all over again. It seems it only happens when I'm on a NW heading after a Refit. Heading West to the Channel it hasn't happened. No big deal as I take it as welcome protection from the Allies. ;)

So, It doesn't engage enemy shipping?
Damn. I really wanted to see a German surface vessel in the North Atlantic.

Nope, and I'm not sure why but I've never seen a German surface ship attack and Allied ship. Can't be it's scripted for them to attack, tho it would be nice to see and have them help when needed.
