desolate pacific

Hello!
It's been quite a while since I've been active on these forums, but since theres a huge lull in Tanksim and GT, I decided to drop by to ask a question or two.

Having revently gotten back into subsimming (after a crazy long hiatus) I was trying out my RFB 2.0 install, with some other mods added in (keep in mind I hven't done anything mod related (downloading or making) for sh4 in ages, so this mod list I have is probably terribly outdated. But the question I have is that the Pacific seems completely...desolate.
I've run into sampans twice. that makes 12 ships I've seen over 4 different careers spanning from '41-'43.
the only exception was with my Narwhal career, where I sank 5-6 ships in a task force (don't ask me how, it was a crazy morning)
But ever since then, nothing. it's boring...and its kinda pulling me away again. anyway, heres the mods I have running, I'm hoping its either because I'm not perseverant enough or the mods I have are wrecking the campaign files..and easily fixed.

RSRDC_RFB_V575
RSRDC_V5xx_Patch1 (from here on it's all graphics so I don't think the problem lies from here down)
Captain Midnights MORE CBS NEWS! MOD v1,2

Anyway, I'm gonna start looking around for updates to what I have and go from there.

rsrdc is all about eliminating most of the traffic in the game so if your bored and need more ships then remove it to solve that problem
