[REL]Cpt Blueballs Update your patrol charts v1,0
 
a small mod that updates your chart maps to suit your current patrol destination. and also some new posters and books to make it look a little fresh every time you start a new patrol. enjoy!! :ahoy:

I've finally managed to download your mod.

Honestly, I think that the charts if features, as they are now, are quite useless. You could complete them with some more details, like bathymetric curves, KM quadrants and, more important, convoy routes. ;)

... but hey the idea is good, and I like very much your updates to pictures, books, charts and poster textures rendered in sub's interior. :up:

For a correct baltic sea chart ww2 you should use Kriegsmarine map 3100 (south half)

IMO the given maps for the scapa operation are cheats. Give us historical correct infos BEFORE the scapa operation took place and not AFTER everything was analyzed and reviewed.
For example:
- http://img.xrmb2.net/images/317110.jpeg (scapa 1939)
- http://www.sharkhunters.com/scapa2.jpg (german aerial reconnaissance 1939)
etc.

yea i know i wanted the maps to be more detailed, but i had a hard time finding hi res pictures and even if some where it didnt show when i transferd them in to dds, if you only could have some zoom effect in the game ore something like that:hmm2:

but im working on some new maps im gona put in some minefelds and stuff to get them to be more useful

yes, zoom not supported, pity. But afaik you can give them whichever size you want.

Don't forget convoy lanes ;)

and, as suggested by CaliEs, you shouldn't put on maps information that wasn't available to Germans during WWII.
