So, anyone making Capital Ship models?
Ahh, capital ships, the greatest modelling challenge (apart from those Tamiya 1/32 planes). So big, and yet full of tiny parts.
Well, right now, I'm building Revell's 1/570 KMS Bismarck model, and made things very difficult for myself by choosing to do the 'Baltic Sea' camoflage scheme. So, is anyone else building capital ships? If you are, then it would be great to see some pics! |
Not exactly building anything at the moment, because my model building table is currently doubling as a computer desk, but I do have a growing collection of pre-Dreadnought battleships, all in 1/700, all in resin and all from the Russian company Combrig.

Hi!
I built this 1/250 Bismarck over the last 3 years. It was the first ever model i worked on, will also probably be the last. It did gave me great and quality time to think and relax around with a good wine tho. :salute: http://sphotos-f.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...78683401_n.jpg http://sphotos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...08497526_n.jpg http://sphotos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...91474213_n.jpg http://sphotos-d.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...27333789_n.jpg http://sphotos-e.ak.fbcdn.net/hphoto...99711374_n.jpg |
