No Life Boats
 

I notice that when I sink merchants in my campain, or warships in the historical missions, there are no life boats launched.

Bug or what ?

then there is no life boats.

There are no lifeboats in stock game. And I believe there are no life boats in the mod you are using.

Just installed and activated the mod, played a historical mission. I sank a freighter, but no life boats launched.

Is this just for the campain ?

Also, there are no AI crew on ships, funny to see guns firing with no one manning them. Is there a setting I need to change in the graphics ?

Not sure but notice, it´s random and depends on the size of ships.

There was not even one life boat, perhaps I killed all the crew, I opened up on her with my deck gun, boy did I take some damage.
