Cool. Now I'm really hoping that there isn't a second sino-Japanese war!

Gargamel 09-16-12 11:51 PM

Looks like a retarded SU-27 to me.

Taxis around going "derp, derp comrade!"

CCIP 09-17-12 12:08 AM

More like the bastard child of the Su-35 and the F-22. Looks like the latter from the front, former from the back :hmmm:

I takes more of the F-22 side (the father? or the mother?):hmmm:

But does it fly or is it just towed around for satellites and press to get pictures of it?

Kloef 09-17-12 02:53 PM

Prototype 31001, where are the others or do they just put a number on it to make it look cool?

Looks almost exactly like the F-22, not just close or a mix between, it's a copy of the F-22 on the outside that is..

Oberon 09-17-12 03:37 PM

I wonder if they remembered to copy the 'Made in America' on it as well...

TLAM Strike 09-17-12 05:01 PM

They are building them faster than we can identify them...

Some thoughts

If it was a civilian company that had it's blueprint for an airplane design stolen, they would sue that company/person(like Apple vs Samsung) that would have done that.

Can the military do the same? Can USA take China to a court for having being spying on them and stolen the blueprint for F-22?

Just a thought

Markus

Jimbuna 09-18-12 03:53 AM

In what court and with what authority would hear the case and who would enforce any decision?

Oberon 09-18-12 05:35 AM

That's the crux of it Jim, this kind of thing has been happening for years.

They say that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery...

CCIP 09-18-12 07:18 AM

Well technically, Hummer is owned by a Chinese company now, so that's probably not even considered imitation...

Pisces 09-18-12 09:49 AM

It does make sense. It could invoke the fear of friendly fire. Making friend or foe determination more difficult.

It gets more embarrassing the more examples you look at :)
