He didnt retire. He is running for president in Locked On. Jack Jr. is just a bigger part of the story. He joined Clark and Chavez at the Campus. And Ed Kealty is still an ass.

Not a whole lot different from earlier books.

I agree, some of the "magic" is gone since there is another author's name on the front. But, the series is in no way ruined.

I read the description for Threat Vector and it has the name Jack Ryan in it.

Either way, Clancy is my favorite author and I have yet to be convinced otherwise. :rock:
