Filefront/Gamefront users check your accounts
 

Shipmates it seems filefront has restored the files that went missing a couple days ago. Just checked my account and voila, as if nothing had happened :hmmm:

Not in my case, well over 50% are still missing.

Can't really tell, must have been a good six months or more when I last logged in. :hmmm:

Yup, they made a policy change sometime in april/may. Any file that is not downloaded frequently enough will be culled from the servers.

Yes I was aware of that but every GWX file has gone and I'm confident they have been downloaded at least once during the previous sixty days :hmmm:

Yep! Mine are back, and they weren't there for even the 60 day limit to start with. Looks like Gamefront is about as reliable as a, well you can fill in the blank yourself. Should have used Mediafire instead.

My files have showed up again after being missing. To iffy for me. Jimbuna you have moved to media file?

Is there a simple way of moving my files from game front to media file or do I have to move them one by one?

Go to the upload section in Media fire and add all the files you want (not sure if there is a limit) then click on the button to commence the process and you'll see your files uploading consecutively (one after the other).

Well, for what it is worth... it appears that my GWX 3.0 files have re-appeared on GameFront. The links are available via the GWX website as usual.:ping:

If I ever have to re-upload them again... it won't be with GameFront. I'm fed up with their nonsense.

In the process of moving all my FF uploads to mediafire as we speak, gonna take a while :doh:

A quick question to kaleuns moving to mediafire, has anyone d/loaded any of your own files? Things seem real slow compared to FF to me, anyone else noticed the same? Just thinking if this is fact it might be an encumbrance to slower bw users.

I'll keep both FF and mediafire going 'till I get complaints :yep:
