Please help me i am patched to sh5 2.0,do i need to be in port for any of thses mods to be installed?Or do i have to start a new campaing?

There are several stickied topics about this both here and on Silent Hunter 5 board. Look at sober's mod list, everything is explained there. If you need to learn how to activate mods, watch stoianm's tutorial on activating mods (also a sticky thread). I would definitely recommend starting a new career. Read carefully any instructions that come with mods you choose, especially with OH2 and NewUI. Read their threads, they contain all the info you need.
