detect radar signals, bearing

My RA said he detects radar signals. Is there a way to determine the bearing? i'm in a 9d 1943

Map or Torpedo plot, read the bearing where the ship position, than hunt them down...

A little unrealistic but it is pretty hard to avoid using the information presented on the map when radar signals are detected. I hate to admit it but I'm guilty of improperly using the information . Maybe my spidey senses were tingling or something. :arrgh!:

I know the early detectors at least didn't supply bearing information. The later models may have.

With all due respect, the fumo, is reliable, i try to torp a ship in heavy fog, the only bad thing about heavy fog is, you have to set torpedo manualy, on the map you will see a gray icon heading direction if you come from a 90 degreese angle you and read the distance on the circly(map or torpedo map) you can torp that ship...

The ship it self will come up like "WTF WAS THAT"....

try it, maybe you have luck too like me...
