Has anyone managed to play SH5 with a HD 7*** series card!?
 

HI,

After frying my GTX570, i decided to buy a HD7870!...unfortunately SH5 is now unplayable!!!

Basically my FPS jumps from 70fps odd to 170fps in a nano second thus making the whole game stutter!!

I used to have a similiar prob with the GTX570 but it was only on occasions and far less prominent.

So has anyone mangaged to play SH5 with an AMD 7 card???....and how so!

i got a HD 6950 and here is your solution.

I play with a zotac gtx 680 amp edition. I turned on anti aliasing to full and the ocean is like crystal, I don't know if anti aliasing is responsible for that as it should be working out the edges of graphics objects, but it became more crystalized after I turned it on. Frame rate is also at full, even if you stand right before a burning ship, it doesnt drop.

I'm playing SH5 with a Zotac GF 8800GT 128 Full Bit GFX card, with 1GB of GDDR3 RAM and Dual SLI capable with DX10. Works great with no problems at all.

Actually my problem is'nt completely solved, there is still a small stutter especially noticeable when looking through the binos, but it is better..annoying though!

I get 155 fps on 1920x1200 with anti aliasing set to full.
and I get 210 FPS on 1680x1050 with anti aliasing off
