I Sommergibili Italiani anyone?
Ok I did raise this subject a while back.
There are a lot of very talanted Mod makers here. Has anyone thought of making a supplementary Italian Submarine career mod for the GWX Mediterranean Campaign? Say Italian Adua-class submarine. The sea/ships/planes are already there. Perhaps it would not be possible but it would in my opinion be a great addition. What do you think? |

"My thoughts exactly!"

I can't do any "real" modding, but I have a rather extensive knowledge of Italian Navy operational history and ships/boats, so I volunteer for advice on the characteristics and for scripting ships in the Med campaign.
Besides, can anyone make non-camouflaged skins for Italian ships? Camo wasn't introduced massively until mid-end 1941. HB |
A lot of Regia Marina ships here:

Same--skilless here--but for someone out there that is looking to do something that hasn't been done yet --an Italian career in sh3:up:

Hello,
I think it would be a waste of time. Since GWX already has German med. campaign, adding Italian next to it wouldn't add much hitpoints to the gameplay anyway IMO. On the other hand if somebody could make Japanese submarine campaign there far in the east it would be indeed cool :) |

Yes a Japanese Campaign would be good. However I think it would be much easier to mod for SH4 considering a lot of what you need is already there. |
