Decks Awash/Fuel Economy Mod
First, hello all, I posted a few times here years ago when I was playing SH2 (under an old account with my old email, so I made this one) and I got SH3 two months ago and I'm hooked! I've been finding most of my questions answered by searching the forum, but when I tried to d/l the file mentiond in the title to this thread, it took me to a Mediafile page where there was only the fuel economy mod, is there anywhere else to get this mod?
|
I believe it's there, just a few pages over in media file.
|
Wreford-Brown, the guy who made the mod, said it was part of his sh3 commander mod. But i didnt get it to work. :wah:
|
I already have SH3 Commander, maybe I have it already then?

Yeah, that was where I tried to d/l it, only noticed one page on where WB had his downloads, maybe it got deleted by mistake.

The SH3 Commander mod makes less conflicts with other mods as it overwrites individual lines in basic.cfg rather than replacing the whole file. If you do see a conflict, open up my mod and search for ';WB' then cut that line into your own basic.cfg. I mark all the changes I make to a file with ;WB and usually with the original value so when I bork something up during testing (which happens regularly - just ask jim, steve and the countless others who have patiently helped unbork my install!) I can revert to a value that works. It also means that people can reverse engineer my mods to help create their own. |
WB, just gotta say thanks for this mod, as it's one of my favorites. Takes a lot of the stress out of the game. Don't have to keeP clicking those damn dials.
So thank you. |
Thanks for the reply WB, SH3 Commander has already become an essential part of the SH3 experience for me, and I'm just starting to realize the possibilities with it.

I'd like to thank the talented modders who made decks awash possible in the first case - they're the ones that deserve the real thanks :salute: |
