CTD near land
 

Hi guys was wondering if anyone could give me tips here.
I've been running sh3/gwx3 plus a host of smaller mods, without any changes for some time now.
Recently, I've experienced a number of CTD, when I'm homeward bound and passing through the skagerrak. It has also happened returning to Kiel, off the Norwegian coast and shortly after leaving any port outbound.
If I survive long enough to reach the open sea all is fine until I head home and approach land.
Previous to these episodes, I would only rarely have a CTD...
My specs are Q9550, ati 4800 and 4gb ram.
I'm puzzled as to why this is happening all the time without any mod or system change for months......

Don't go near land then.

Rich, you may want to try a little program called Large Address Aware. It helps when you have 4+ GBs of ram to help stop CTDs.
